Which path? - Colorado Killings: You shall not be next...
Arise and tell the devil, I and my loved ones shall not be cut down, I will not die in my prime; in Jesus mighty name! Amen.
The devil, that old serpent is still in the business of stealing, killing and destroying. The world is still in a shock as to how and why a 24 year old James Holmes would kill 12 people on Friday, July 20, 2012; leaving 58 people injured in Aurora, Colorado. The killings occurred at a midnight movie theatre showing of “The Dark Knight Rises". James, a bright doctoral (PhD) candidate in the neuroscience program at the Anschutz Medical Campus of the University Of Colorado School Of Medicine, Aurora Colorado had graduated with highest honours with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience in 2010. "Academically, he was at the top of the top," says Chancellor Timothy P. White.
How did a bright young promising 24 year old potential Doctor turn to a killer overnight? Why did 2 young boys who could have become national leaders, or historic scientists turn murderers overnight in the April 20, 1999 Columbine, Colorado killings? Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold left 13 people dead and 21 others injured before committing suicide.
The major issue is not James or Eric or Dylan, but their Father and master. In John 8:44, Jesus said to some people, that they were of their father the devil and the works of their father is what they will perform. There is a spirit working in the children of disobedience (Ephesians 2:2), which is out to destroy young and old according to the counsel of its master.
You shall not be wasted; the destiny of your loved ones shall not be wasted in Jesus name! Arise and cover yourself and your household with the blood of Jesus. We need to cut off the works of the enemy from our lives, community and nation with the sword of the spirit.
The waster, that old serpent will not come near you or your household in Jesus name! You will not be cut down in your prime!
As you pray, come against violence targeted against your life, destiny and future; that God will order your steps to be at the right place at the right time.
How would you explain it; a woman - Jessica Redfield - who escaped being killed in the last month Toronto Canada mall shooting was killed in the Colorado USA mass shooting on Friday.
"Redfield had blogged about her experiences in the Toronto mall shooting, where she was in the food court and left just ahead of the beginning of the attack, the London Mirror reported. In the blog entry Jessica Redfield wrote about suddenly feeling panicked for no real reason after making a purchase in the mall, leading her to leave quickly.
A feeling that was overwhelming enough to lead me to head outside in the rain to get fresh air instead of continuing back into the food court to go shopping at SportChek. The gunshots rung out at 6:23. Had I not gone outside, I would’ve been in the midst of gunfire.
Jessica Redfield went on to write about the panic that ensued as police and ambulances closed in and she watched victims rushed out on stretchers. She also described the gratitude of surviving the ordeal, at times eerily foreshadowing the panic of Friday’s mass shooting.
I was shown how fragile life was on Saturday. I saw the terror on bystanders’ faces. I saw the victims of a senseless crime. I saw lives change. I was reminded that we don’t know when or where our time on Earth will end. When or where we will breathe our last breath. For one man, it was in the middle of a busy food court on a Saturday evening.
I say all the time that every moment we have to live our life is a blessing. So often I have found myself taking it for granted. Every hug from a family member. Every laugh we share with friends. Even the times of solitude are all blessings. Every second of every day is a gift. After Saturday evening, I know I truly understand how blessed I am for each second I am given."
From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force -(Matthew 11:12).
We need to also pray for children to follow good examples and not the evil ones. Concerning a king that had a good, godly father, the Bible states:
But Jehoram followed the example of the kings of Israel and was as wicked as King Ahab, for he had married one of Ahab's daughters. So Jehoram did what was evil in the LORD's sight - 2 Kings 8:18.
Declare boldly:
1. No weapon formed against me/my family/destiny shall prosper, in Jesus name!
2. I will live and not die and declare the works of the Lord in the land of the living. I will fulfill my destiny, in Jesus name!
3. Pray on the above write up as led.
4. God of consolation, console the families and friends of those affected by these shootings and other negative events. In your own supernatural way, replace that which was lost and heal hearts, in Jesus name.
5. The glory of youth is their strength. The glory of our young people will not be turned to shame and destruction, in Jesus name!
6. I and the children that the Lord has given me are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of Hosts who dwells in Mt, Zion. We will stand out for excellence, for positive and notable works, in Jesus mighty name!
7. No evil shall be allowed to befall me, no plague will come near my tent, family and community, in Jesus name! (Pray this well).
8. I shall not be the next in line for evil. No evil shall touch me and my loved ones. I will be preserved from danger. The righteous is delivered from trouble, and the wicked walks into it instead (Proverbs 11:8). The God who watches over me does not sleep nor slumber.
Feel free to forward this to people on your list to pray...
Peace!
