Pandemic: Your balm of refuge and healing in uncertain times
Beloved, we are definitely in a season of challenges, changing norms, some are giving in to fear and some are going through sickness, lack, some are dying and some have died.
Notwithstanding, a notable question springs to mind:
Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then has not the health of the daughter of my people recovered? (Jeremiah 8:22 KJV).
Another Translation states:
There is still medicinal ointment available in Gilead! There is still a physician there! Why then have my dear people not been restored to health? (Jeremiah 8:22 Net Bible).
Gilead means mountain or hill country. In Aramaic, it is Yegar-Sahadutha, which has the same meaning as the Hebrew Gileed, which means "heap [of stones] of testimony" (Genesis 31:47–48).
On this mountain of challenges, you are coming out with heaps of testimonies in Jesus name.
The balm of Gilead is a medicinal ointment used for universal curative purposes. The balm of Gilead, the healing virtue of our Lord Jesus Christ will come upon you and yours to perfect your healing in Jesus name.
God is still a healer and He can and will heal you and yours from any ailment or affliction as you call on Him in Jesus name (Exodus 15:26, 1 Peter 2:24).
The Bible states in Matthew 8:16 -
That evening many demon-possessed people were brought to Jesus. He cast out the evil spirits with a simple command, and he healed all the sick.
You can call on Him too: Heal me, O Lord , and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. (Jeremiah 17:14 KJV)
Remember:
He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. (Psalm 107:20 NLT)
He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. (Psalm 107:20 KJV)
His word of healing and deliverance has come to you today: Be healed from every infirmity, affliction and sickness in Jesus name. I command every agent of death to die out of your body in Jesus name. Receive strength, healing and deliverance by the power in the blood of Jesus.
Do not fear. Pray, praise God and study your Bible.
The calamities will pass by and will not touch you in Jesus name.
Pray the personal pandemic prayer points and in case you are yet to pray the prayers for the month, do endeavor to do so.
Remain safe and blessed. May God keep you safe.
