Thanksgiving and Divine Visitation
Prayers: 1. Sing songs of praise and worship to bless God. 2. Father, let my life, my praises, and my worship be acceptable to you always in Jesus’ name. 3. Father, visit me divinely and deliver me where I need deliverance, help me where I need help and bless me indeed in the name of Jesus.
Text: Luke 1: 26-28 Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin named Mary. She was engaged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of King David. And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!”
Why Give Thanks? 1. God is not far away from you, He has not left you alone. He is near to you, so He sees you, knows about you and can hear you when you call unto Him. We thank you, O God! We give thanks because you are near. People everywhere tell of your wonderful deeds. (Psalm 75:1)
2. God loves you, chose you, saved you, gave you His Holy Spirit to make you holy and gave you grace to believe the truth.
As for us, we can’t help but thank God for you, dear brothers and sisters loved by the Lord. We are always thankful that God chose you to be among the first to experience salvation—a salvation that came through the Spirit who makes you holy and through your belief in the truth. (2 Thessalonians 2:13)
3. The mercies of God that does not allow you to be stagnant in the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, but graces you to grow in faith and love.
Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. (2 Thessalonians 1:3) 4. He provides for us abundantly and His name is GLORIOUS.
Now, our God, we give you thanks, and praise your glorious name. (1 Chronicles 29:13)
5. Deliverance from slavery to sin and works of darkness.
But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, (Romans 6:16-18)
6. God, our Captain, the Mighty Lord of Hosts gives us victory over powerful intimidating and reinforced adversaries.
Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14)
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ! (1 Corinthians 15:57)
7. For His grace that has been freely given to you. Grace is a maker of men.
I give thanks to my God always for you because of the grace of God that was given you in Christ Jesus, (1 Corinthians 1:4)
But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10)
8. Everything was made by Him and comes from Him, so we should thank Him for everything.
19Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord, 20always giving thanks to God the Father for everything in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:19-20)
16And the twenty-four elders who sit on their thrones before God fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17saying: “We give thanks to You, O Lord God Almighty, the One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. (Revelation 11:17)
10.We are commanded to give thanks in all circumstances and situations. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18) May the grace to give acceptable thanks and praises to God be upon you life now and always in Jesus name.
Divine Visitation? What is Divine Visitation God – Divinity coming in the fullness of His power, might, love, blessings, and grace to confer upon you, His mercies, grace, and blessings. God visited Mary, she gave birth to our Lord Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of Lords. God visited Abraham, good things that were dead in his life came back to life. God visited Sarah, her barrenness and shame came to an end, she became a joyful mother. God visited Moses, a fugitive became honored, respected, powerful and his word became law. God visited Joshua and he conquered all his enemies. May God visit you: · turn your barrenness to a fruitful ground, · make good things that are dead to come back to life, · give you victory over all your enemies, · bring you into His promised land for your life, · enabling you to fulfil His purpose for your life, · bless and increase you mightily and · put an end to every form of lack, shame and reproach in your life and family in Jesus name.
Prayer Power of resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, come upon my life and situations in Jesus name.

2. Are you born again? 3. Father, preserve me in you till the end in Jesus name. 4. Let unrelenting problems melt away from my life and future in the name of Jesus. 5. Lord Jesus, make a way for me where there seems to be no way in the name of Jesus. 6. I enter into my place of flourishing and wealthy place by the power in the blood of Jesus.
7. By the favor and mercy of God, I will be a winner in all aspects of life, family, career, ministry, and destiny in the name of Jesus.
I pray for you as I pray for myself: May God’s divine visitation come upon your life in the name of Jesus. May the Lord of Hosts, make the seemingly impossible possible in your life and family in Jesus name. In this month and beyond, good news will be your portion, sorrow and loss will not come near you and yours in Jesus name. May you always have cause to rejoice and celebrate in the name of Jesus. |
