God loves families.
Prayers
1. Sing a song of praise and worship to God: Glorify His Holy Name.
2. Every spirit of rebellion against God, leave my life alone in the name of Jesus.
3. My family and I will not dwell in a dry land or dry place in Jesus’ name.
Text: Psalm 68:6
God sets the solitary in families; He brings out those who are bound into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
May God settle the solitary in families in Jesus’ name.
Note:
1. God is a family man, hence He loves families.
In several places in the Bible, God is referred to as “Our Father”. The Lord’s prayer begins with “Our Father”. He is also the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, (1 Peter 1:3)
2. God cares about the lonely, the forsaken, the prisoners, and those in any form of bondage or captivity. According to Psalm 68:6, God sets the lonely and forsaken in families.
God causes the lonely to dwell in families. He leads prisoners into prosperity, but rebels live on parched land.
3. Based on His love for you, God is able to comfort you and has compassion on you in a way that no one else can.
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, 4who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God (2 Corinthians 1)
4. God knows all the families on the earth and every member of the family
“You only have I known of all the families of the earth; (Amos 3:2)
This means that your family is not “on your own” or “on their own” without God, without hope and without help in this world. Your loving Father is ever ready to come to your aid, to shield, protect, shelter, provide for you, and deliver you.
May God not leave you and your family to yourself in Jesus’ name.
May God be your ever-present help in trouble and always in Jesus’ name.
5. Grace mercy and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ is available to you and your family in God (1 Timothy 1:2, 2 John 1:3). This comes as you apply yourself to the word of God, the ways of God, being obedient to Him and remaining prayerful as you look for the eternal salvation in Christ Jesus (Jude 1:21).
May God’s grace, peace, and mercy be upon your life and family, now and always in Jesus’ mighty name.
6. God is your maker and your husband
For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. (Isaiah 54:5)
This means that God will be:
· Your provider
· Your carer - One who loves you and cares for you
· Your protector
· Your healer
· Your redeemer
· Your Lifter into your wealthy place since He is the God of the whole earth. Silver and gold (great wealth) belongs to Him and He can transfer it to you.
7. God is able to sustain you till the end and He will never leave you or forsake you if you do not forsake Him.
Even when you're old, I'll take care of you. Even when your hair turns gray, I'll support you. I made you and will continue to care for you. I'll support you and save you. (Isaiah 46:4)
· God will take care of you
· Even till old age, to grey hairs, God will take care of you.
· God's commitment to you is everlasting
· God has promised to support you and save you.
