Prayers 1. I arise above every problem and difficulty by the power in the blood of Jesus. 2. Every power trying to bring me down or hold me down break your hold and die in the name of Jesus.
Text: Romans 5:17 For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
Revelation 1:6 and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
The purpose why Jesus came, died and rose again to give you a better life and magnificent inheritance will be fulfilled in your life, family and destiny in Jesus name. You will reign in life (present and eternal) through Christ in Jesus name.
You will not be a lowly down-trodden person in Jesus name.
By virtue of redemptive rights in Jesus, you will be a priest of God indeed, offering acceptable sacrifices of praise and worship unto God our Father in Jesus name.
What does it mean to rise? 1. move from a lower position to a higher one 2. come or go up 3. get up from lying, sitting, or kneeling 4. an upward movement; an instance of becoming higher
May you rise from every lowly undesirable state in Jesus name. I command powers keeping you down to break their hold over you in Jesus name.
What does it mean to reign? 1. To hold royal office; rule as king or queen. 2. The period during which a sovereign rules. 3. To be the best or most important in a particular area or domain. 4. To be the king or queen of a country
We note therefore that only kings and queens reign. Jesus has made you royalty, a king (collectively used for both male and female children of God) so you can reign.
Some qualities of a king who reigns 1. The king is supreme in that area or domain. Ecclesiastes 8:4 – His word is also supreme and authoritative. The king makes the laws by which everyone else must abide by. 2. The word of the king is powerful. The Bible says in Ecclesiastes 8:4 Where the word of a king is, there is power; And who may say to him, “What are you doing?” 3. The king is not an underling. 4. The king is not under oppression 5. The king controls the resources in the domain and does not lack wealth Your words will be powerful in Jesus name. You and yours will not be under oppression in Jesus name. You and yours will not lack wealth or things needed in Jesus mighty name.
Nature of a priest 1. Appointed by a spiritual authority who is above the appointed. The Bible states in Hebrews 5:4 that: And no one can become a high priest simply because he wants such an honor. He must be called by God for this work, just as Aaron was. 2. Ordained into the office of a priest. In Exodus 40, the Bible states: 12 Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the Tent of Meeting and wash them with water. 13 And you are to clothe Aaron with the holy garments, anoint him, and consecrate him, so that he may serve Me as a priest. 3. Given grace to function.
God who has called you to be a priest unto Him will multiply His grace upon your life and enable you to fulfill your calling in a manner acceptable to Him in Jesus name.
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.(Romans 5:17)
From Romans 5:17, we note that grace and righteousness are fundamental to reigning in life. Grace is the inworking of God in our lives, His wisdom, guidance, leading and strengthening as we allow Him to work in our lives, work through us and by us. Every balloon needs air to float up into the air and stay afloat. Without air the balloon will not be able to rise. If the balloon that was previously floating loses air, it begins to fall. Righteousness makes our balloon of life, our kingship, priesthood, power and authority to float. On the other hand, sin is a sinker. It causes the balloon to lose air, to start descending and fall to the ground. A balloon that falls to the ground loses its glory and is unable to fulfill its purpose of soaring high in glory.
You will not fall; righteousness and grace will sustain you in Jesus mighty name.
What should you do to reign as a king and priest? 1. Be born again: Jesus is the kingmaker; He also ordains priests. Allow Him to make you a king and priest unto Him. 2. Receive the grace that made you. (Romans 5:17) 3. Be sustained by grace. (Romans 5:17) 4. Abide in holiness (1 Peter 1:15-16) 5. Maintain your righteousness (Romans 5:17)
Prayers 1. Father, destroy every work of the devil in my life, family and community in the name of Jesus. 2. I will not die I will live to the glory of God in Jesus name.
