Going Forward – Part 1 - Path
Proverbs 4:18 The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day. (NIV) But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. (KJV) Prayers
You will go forward in Jesus name You will not go backward in Jesus name Your life will advance in Jesus name. Failure will not overcome or hold you back in Jesus name. Your career, academics, health, ministry, finances and destiny will move forward in Jesus name.
Today we will be looking at the Path. It is the path taken that determines whether the righteous, the just will shine more and more till the perfect day of Christ. It is important to understand the important component of the path to know how to walk appropriately to be able to shine. We will look at the meaning of shine subsequently. What does Path mean? Path means a way or track for walking, the course or direction in which a person or thing is moving, a route, way, course, road, direction, line, track, run, The destination you are going should determine the path you take. In every aspect of life, the path taken matters. In academics, the path a person who wants to become a doctor takes will be different from someone who wants to become a lawyer. While the doctor will choose and excel in science courses including biology, the lawyer has to excel in English, literature, sociology, philosophy, law, constitutional law etc. If the lawyer is excelling in Biology and not his core required subjects, he or she is on the wrong path. A doctor-to-be excelling in law courses and has no knowledge of biology, human anatomy etc. is on the wrong path. You will not be on the wrong path in Jesus name. Any power that wants to take you onto the wrong path for your life shall die Path was used at least 23 times in the Bible. Why are people being taken away from the right path for their lives 1. To prevent them from rest. Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all of you who are tired from carrying heavy loads, and I will give you rest. (GNT); Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.(KJV),
Jeremiah 6:16 - Thus says the LORD: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’ Any power saying no to your rest shall give up and die in Jesus name. Every arrow preventing you from entering your rest shall go back to senders in Jesus.
2. To take them into hell 3. To deny them of the relationship of peace with God
Romans 5:1 - Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,,
Romans 15:13 - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
4. There is a snake, a viper, an adder in the way that waits to strike those going on in their right ways. Genesis 49: 16Dan shall provide justice for his people as one of the tribes of Israel. 17He will be a snake by the road, a viper in the path that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider tumbles backward There are powers, sometimes working through people in the nature of snakes waiting, planning and making people who are going about their business to fall through their bites including attacks during sleep, while working, causing accidents, losses, failures etc. Any serpent waiting to attack you shall roast by fire in Jesus name. Powers that want to make you fall backward shall fail in Jesus name. Powers that want you to fail shall fail in Jesus name. Evil powers against you shall be disappointed, they shall fail , but you shall rejoice, be preserved , go forward and upward in Jesus mighty name!
How to get on the right path 1. Be born again 2. Be obedient to the words of God
3. Learn from His word the right pathway for your life. Psalm 119:105 – Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. No amount prayers would have helped Ezra or Ezekiel if they decided to be medical doctors instead of preachers and God’s vessel.
4. Ask help from Angel - Numbers 22:24 Then the angel of the LORD stood in a narrow path through the vineyards, with walls on both sides. Divine powers will not stand against you, they will work for you, they will work with you and advance your cause in Jesus name. Divine powers will block the path of your stubborn enemies in Jesus name.
5. Ask God to show you the best pathway for your life Psalm 32:8 - I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.
6. Refuse to walk in the path of the wicked Proverbs 4:14 – Don’t do as the wicked do, and don’t follow the path of evildoers.: stealing, lying, cheating, saying evil words, disobedience.
7. Ask God to show you the path of life Psalm 16:11 - Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
8. Walk in the God ordained path of life.
Prayers 1. My Father, My Father, My Father, show me the best pathway for my life in the name of Jesus. 2. My Father, My Father, My Father, help me to walk in your best pathway for my life in the name of Jesus. 3. Lord, help me not to walk in the way of the wicked in Jesus name. 4. Anything and any power that may prevent me from getting to heaven, die in the name of Jesus. 5. Powers planning to bite me so I can fall backward, die in the name of Jesus. 6. Powers blocking my way of advancement, perish by fire in the name of Jesus. 7. Evil altars working against me and my family, catch fire in the name of Jesus. 8. Covens of darkness and evil altars working against my life and destiny catch fire in the name of Jesus. 9. Serpents of darkness waiting to poison me, swallow your poison and die in the name of Jesus. 10. Ministering angels, clear my path to greatness, clear my path to the top by fire in the name of Jesus.
