I will attain God’s ordained goal for my life
Prayers
1. Father, arise and fight for Ukraine in your mercy, defend the land and its people, and let aggression, death, and destruction end in the name of Jesus.
2. Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, my Father, let me attain your ordained goal for my life and destiny in the name of Jesus.
I pray that:
By the zeal of God and the mercy in the blood of Jesus, you will attain God’s ordained goal for your life in the name of Jesus.
Text: Ezra 7:9
He had arranged to leave Babylon on April 8, the first day of the new year, and he arrived at Jerusalem on August 4, for the gracious hand of his God was on him.
We have already seen that:
· Getting there – requires a clear identification of the end goal.
· Ensure the goal is rooted in God, so you do not run in vain or waste energy to realize at the end that it was as one beating the air – fighting battles you should not have been fighting, wasting time on things you should not have been wasting time on or depleting resources on what you should not deplete resources on, etc.
· Seeking God’s face to ensure that the goal is rooted in God.
· Seeking God’s face is not a one-time activity. This is required at the onset, during, and even at the perceived end of goal accomplishment.
· Obtaining the plan and pattern from God. David obtained detailed plans of the temple building from God including the materials, dimensions of the building etc. (1 Chronicles 28)
· Obtain the timing, do not be overly worried about the time according to Habakkuk 2:3, it will not be delayed, it will not tarry, which means as you follow God, it will come to pass. Additionally, since to God a thousand years are as one day. Just remain prayerful, trusting, and walking with God in Obedience.
· Pursue after accomplishment with all that is within you. We see the attitude of Apostle Paul in goal pursuit (Philippians 3:12)
· Finish strong in glory. Apostle Paul stated, as an encouragement to you and I (2 Timothy 4)
May you finish well and finish strong in the name of Jesus.
May you keep the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ and not depart from the way of God in the planning, execution, and accomplishment of the goal in Jesus’ name.
What is the Way forward?
1. Be born again
2. Keep the faith
3. Be prayerful
4. Be obedient
5. Stay the course, no matter how challenging
Note:
· There is nothing as terrible as not reaching one’s God-ordained goal for one’s life.
· Terah Abraham’s father started on a journey to get to Canaan, the eventual promised land for future generations.
31 Terah took Abram his son and Lot the son of Haran, his grandson, and Sarai his daughter-in-law, his son Abram’s wife, and they went forth together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran, they settled there. 32 The days of Terah were 205 years, and Terah died in Haran. (Genesis 11)
· He did not get there. He stopped mid-way at Haran. He died at Haran on the way to his goal.
May you not die on the journey to your promised land.
· Abraham, his son continued the journey. It was Abraham that completed the journey his father was unable to complete. That is why some say children are our future. They are able to do things that parents are unable to do.
Pray: Any power that wants to limit my future and my children, expire by fire in the name of Jesus.
May any power that wants to limit your glorious future expire by fire in the name of Jesus.
· The other children of Terah settled where their father stopped.
You will not settle for less than God’s plan for you and your family in the name of Jesus.
Pray: What stopped my parents will not stop me in the name of Jesus.
What successfully stopped your parents will not stop you in the name of Jesus.
· Demas was moving with Apostle Paul but departed from the way of Christ and the race that was set before him.

for Demas, having loved [the pleasures of] this present world, has deserted me and gone to Thessalonica; Crescens has gone to Galatia, Titus to Dalmatia. (2 Timothy 4:10)
May your feet not be removed from the way of Christ in the name of Jesus.

9. I receive the anointing of ease in my endeavors in Jesus’ name.
10.I receive a seven-fold recovery of every good thing stolen from my life, family, career, academics, health, business, finances, and destiny by the power in the blood of Jesus
