From death to life – Part 2 (Luke 8:40-56)
Prayers 1. Every good thing that is about to die in my life and destiny, receive life by the resurrection power in the blood of Jesus in Jesus name. 2. Every good thing that is dead in my life and family, receive life in the name of Jesus.
May every form of death and destruction die out of your life, family, ministry, career, and destiny in Jesus name.
Text: Luke 8:40-42, 49-56 The Healing Touch of Jesus 40And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him. 41And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house: 42For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him. 43And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, 44Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. 45And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? 46And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. 47And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. 48And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace. 49While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. 50But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. 51And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. 52And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. 53And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. 54And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. 55And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. 56And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.
The only daughter of a certain man was sick and at the point of death. The dad ran to Jesus and asked Jesus to intervene by coming to his house to pray for the 12-year-old. Before they got to the girl, she had died. Jesus got there, spoke life changing words and brought the girl back to life.
What can we learn from the story before we pray?
1. No matter what you have God gave it to you. It is valuable. Give God thanks for it, be appreciative. Satan would desire to steal it because that is his ministry and calling: The Bible says in John 10:10 that the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly. No man can receive anything except itis given from above in line with |John 3:27 John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.
Jairus had an only daughter. Not only did he not have a son - a cause of shame in Biblical times as he may not have someone to carry on his family name. Even that only daughter he had the devil stole. However, Jesus came to restore and restored what the devil stole.
Shame will be canceled from your life and family in Jesus name.
What the devil stole God will restore in Jesus name.
What the devil wants to and is planning to steal God will prevent and frustrate the devils efforts in Jesus name.
2. A problem may come to a person. As long as you run to Jesus, He will take care of the problem. Whether it is a sudden or gradual problem, take it to Jesus and let Him fix it. Let Him resolve it. This man encountered the loss of possibly the most important thing in his life and he subsequently smiled and rejoiced. You will smile and rejoice in Jesus name. The Bible states in Psalm 34:6 that This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. The Lord will hear your cry and save you and your family out of all your troubles in Jesus name.
3. As you seek Jesus the situation may grow from bad to worse. Discouragement may set in Bad news may come. Don't be discouraged. Keep seeking Jesus and all will be well in the end. They told the man: - Look since you've gone to seek Jesus, your situation, your daughters condition and your family's situation has actually gone from bad to worse. - Before you embarked on this journey your daughters situation was better than it is now. - What's the use, don't bother bringing Jesus into the situation anymore - Conditions are now so bad that no one can do anything about it. - It's no use. Stop asking Jesus to intervene. - Go home and manage this overwhelming problem yourself. - Live with it.
However, notwithstanding the bad news and worsening conditions the man continued to seek Jesus and his situation, his daughters situation and family turned around for good. They moved into rejoicing and testimonies.
Keep seeking Jesus, your situations will turn around for good and you will testify in Jesus name
4. Allow Jesus to speak into your life. - Jesus said to Jairus, I will go home with you to heal your daughter. And when more bad news came; - Jesus told him not to be afraid but to only believe. - When Jesus got to his home, he changed the situation of the girl from death to only sleeping by declaring it as such. - Then Jesus spoke the words of resurrection to the girl to arise. Since Jesus is the resurrection and the life, the girl arose into life. You and yours will hear the words of God and you and yours will arise from every dead lowly undesirable situation into glorious abundant life in Jesus name. - Jesus then gave instructions for sustenance, providing the key to sustain the miracle by saying they should give the girl something to eat. - Allow Jesus speak into your life and situations and you will receive your full testimony in Jesus name.
5. Let Jesus be able to follow you home. Jesus offered to go to the home of Jairus. Jairus was able to agree with that suggestion. Jesus was able to follow him all the way home and enter his house without turning back. Jairus was likely not having anything that would defile his house hence Jesus went there. Our lives, our bodies are the temple of God. The Bible states in 1 Corinthians 6:19 that Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is within you, whom you have [received as a gift] from God, and that you are not your own [property]? The Holy Spirit lives in you. We should not have something that would defile the temple as listed in Galatians 5:19-22. Jesus should be able to follow you or go anywhere with you to rescue and deliver you. I pray that God’s Holy Spirit will always abide in you till the end in Jesus name.
What should you do to arise from death to life in situations? 1. Be born again 2. Have faith 3. Call upon God to intervene in your situation. 4. Receive the words of God
Pray My family and I recover every good thing stolen from our lives in Jesus name. Announcements Prayers 1. Give thanks

4. I barricade my life, family and destiny by the fire of God and the blood of Jesus in Jesus name.
5. I reject every form of affliction, sickness and death by the power in the blood of Jesus.
6. My life, family and house reject sickness, affliction and death in Jesus name.
7. I welcome wealth, fruitfulness and prosperity into my life, home and family in Jesus name.
8. Father, revive every good thing that is dying or decaying in my life, family and destiny in Jesus name.
9. Lord Jesus, you are the resurrection and the life, bring to life every good thing that is dead in my life in Jesus name.
10.Corona virus die out of the lives of those who have been infected by the power in the blood of Jesus.
11.Corona virus die out of our community and nation by the power in the blood of Jesus.
12.Infirmities die out of my life and the life of my loved one(s) and family members in Jesus name.
13.Body parts that need replacement, be replaced and begin to function properly in Jesus name.
14.I recover my lost wealth, business, and opportunities by the power in the blood of Jesus.
15.Spiritual and physical thieves give up what you have stolen from me and my family by the power in the blood of Jesus.
16.Lay your hand on your head or any part of your body or the body of your loved ones that requires the healing touch of God as we pray: PRAYER
