I Have a Father: A Father’s Love • 6 But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. Jesus was asked the same question (John 8:19: John 10:10) • Redeeming Love – Jesus, father and 2 year old • Transforming Love – the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 and the father who runs triathlon • Secure Love – lasts for eternity Jeremiah 31:3 • Without doubt our Heavenly Father is our father (Isaiah 63:16) • He is your God of Peace (Hebrews 13:20-21) • 20Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, • 21equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever.
